The kids at the University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital have a new place to have some fun thanks to Minnesota Wild player Jason Zucker and his family.

Zucker and his wife, Carly, who hosts her own show on KFAN, held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Monday for the new Zucker Family Suite and Broadcast Studio. The space will provide an escape for kids and their families while they stay at the hospital, allowing them to watch Wild games and even record their own shows.

Zucker Family Suite and Broadcast Studio includes a state-of-the art broadcast studio and a fully outfitted theater, with a large projection screen that simulates the experience of being at a Wild game.

The Zuckers donated about $200,000 toward the project and raised nearly a million more to build the suite and studio.
