Vikings 1-on-1: Kyle Rudolph on his vital role

FOX 9's Dawn Mitchell sat down with Vikings Tight End Kyle Rudolph to talk about his critical role this season.

In the segment, Rudolph talks about his under-the-radar roles on the Vikings that don't show up on the stat sheet and how he's adapted to coaching changes in the organization.

Also, he talked about his "angry" side that only manifests itself on the field.

On the other hand, Rudolph is also the Vikings' Walter Payton Man of the Year Award nominee for his work with the University of Minnesota Masonic Children's Hospital.

He described what it was like to host the annual North Pole trip.

Rudolph also talked about what the Twin Cities means to his family.

"This is home for us. Our kids were born here, they will be raised here," he said. "So, we are really emotionally invested in the Twin Cities."
