The Minnesota Timberwolves are throwing it back to 1996 this season with their new Classic Edition uniforms, which will feature the same uniform design the team wore more than two decades ago.

The team unveiled their Classic Edition uniforms and the 30th season logo design Thursday. The Classic Edition uniforms are all black with green tree lining and the fierce wolfhead logo on the shorts --the same ones the team wore during the Kevin Garnett Era from 1996-2008.

The Classic Edition uniforms will be worn at five home games throughout the season. The team will debut the throwback uniforms at their game on Oct. 31 against the Utah Jazz. They will also sport the uniforms at their games on Dec. 3, Jan. 4, March 5 and April 9.
