CHANHASSEN, Minn. (KMSP) - High school students in Chanhassen, Minnesota are honoring an unusual pair to Homecoming court.
Chanhassen High School named Adam King and Jordyn Queen to the court, making them "King King" and "Queen Queen."
The two were crowned at Chanhassen's pep fest on Monday. They will reign over Homecoming week activities, including the game against Coon Rapids on Friday, followed by the Homecoming dance on Saturday.
“I was surprised, to be honest. At first I didn't see that he won; I thought the guy next to him won so I kinda sat back and then I heard his name called and was like, ‘oh wait I might win, so then I got excited,” Queen said.
