Woman dies of injuries after north Minneapolis house fire

A woman died Wednesday of the injuries she sustained in a house fire June 4 in Minneapolis.

Fire crews responded to the fire around 10 p.m. June 4 at 2723 Dupont Avenue North where they found a woman who suffered second and third degree burns after her clothes caught on fire. The woman was lying in the kitchen near a bathroom when authorities found her. She was treated at the scene and transported to the hospital.

This marks the third fire-related death in Minneapolis this year.
