Woman critically injured after semi truck collides with SUV in Eagan, Minnesota

A 33-year-old woman was critically injured after a semi-truck collided with an SUV late Monday morning in Eagan, Minnesota.

According to Eagan Police, around 11:33 a.m., officers responded to an injury crash at Cliff Road and Pilot Knob Road. Investigation later revealed that the semi was traveling west on Cliff Road and ran a red light, striking the SUV on its left side.

After hitting the SUV, the semi rolled on its side and spilled a large amount of sand onto the road.

The driver of the SUV was injured and is currently in critical condition. The driver of the semi was injured and released.

Authorities are still investigating the crash.
