Wisconsin reports 4 fatal snowmobile crashes Saturday

A man died in a snowmobile crash Saturday night in Dunn County, Wisconsin, marking the fourth fatal snowmobile crash in just one day.

According to authorities, at about 7:31 p.m., officials received a report of a snowmobile crash near the 8500 block of 870th Street in Colfax, Wis.

Officials say the snowmobile driver, a 28-year-old man from Boyceville, was unconscious. Authorities determined he was going south when he lost control, left the trail and was ejected. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The other deadly crashes happened in Langlade County, Calument County and Forest County. Another crash in Iron County on Friday left a snowmobiler on life support.

The crashes are under investigation by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources.
