Watkins, Minn. worker dies in industrial accident
WATKINS, Minn. (KMSP) - A maintenance worker died Wednesday after he became pinned in the machine he was working on at a business in western Minnesota.
Authorities were called to a business in Watkins around 11:36 a.m. on a report of an industrial accident. Rescue workers freed the worker from the equipment and began life saving efforts, but he died at the scene.
The worker has been identified as Todd Shoutz, 51, of Litchfield.
The Meeker County sheriff’s office is investigating the accident.
