Vikings sign ex-Bengal safety George Iloka

The Minnesota Vikings announced Wednesday they signed safety George Illoka, who was released by the Cincinnati Bengals.

Illoka spent seven seasons in Cincinnati where he had 230 tackles and nine interceptions in 83 games.

The move will come with some familiar faces for Illoka as he played two seasons under Mike Zimmer when he was the defensive coordinator in Cincinnati. Zimmer was the one who drafted him out of Boise State. Iloka and Terrance Newman played together for the Bengals.
