VIDEO: People run through downtown Minneapolis in underwear amid -22 wind chill

A severely underdressed group of people ran through downtown Minneapolis today for Cupid's Undie Run.

Wind chills this morning bottomed out at -27 before warming up to a balmy -22 around the time of the run. In fact, it was one of the coldest Valentine's afternoons in 70 years.

At least any frostbite the runners may have suffered was for a good cause -- the event raised money for the Children's Tumor Foundation.

The undie runners weren't the only ones braving the conditions today. Ridiculously cold wind chills didn't stop polar plungers in Woodbury from jumping in freezing water for the Special Olympics or hockey lovers from playing some puck on Lake Nokomis.

Hey, it's Minnesota -- do you expect it to be anything other than frigid this time of year?
