Student robbed at gunpoint outside Univ. of Minnesota building
MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) - University of Minnesota Police are investigating the robbery of a student outside of the Carlson School of Management’s Hanson Hall of the West Bank campus. According to police, a suspect armed with a semi-automatic handgun robbed the woman at approximately 9:35 a.m. Monday, Jan. 22.
Police said the victim was threatened and robbed of her purse and cell phone. The suspect then fled in a gray Volkswagen Jetta.
As of late Monday afternoon, authorities reported they have suspects in custody, and the woman's property has been recovered.
