State Patrol: Unsecured load caused semi truck fire west of Fergus Falls, Minn.

(KMSP) - The Minnesota State Patrol is reminding drivers to secure their cargo after a semi fire broke out Friday on Interstate 94 west of Fergus Falls. 

According to state patrol, the fire was caused by a mattress getting caught in the rear tires of the tractor trailer.

As thousands of travelers hit the road Memorial Day weekend, remember to make sure everything is properly secured.
