St. Paul shooting stemmed from 'family dispute,' police say
A house on the 1000 block of 3rd Street E. which police say was the site of a fatal shooting Wednesday.
The person who St. Paul police believe shot and killed another man in the city's Dayton's Bluff neighborhood Wednesday afternoon is in custody, according to a release from the department.
Investigators said the incident stemmed from a family dispute and that the suspect and victim are related.
Officers were originally called to the 1000 block of East 3rd Street around 1:30 p.m. for a reported shooting, arriving to find the victim suffering from a gunshot wound. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene a short time later, officials said.
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner's office will release the victim's name, while the investigation into the fatal incident remains ongoing.
