St. Paul Council to vote on settlement with person injured by canine bite

The St. Paul City Council will vote Wednesday on a settlement agreement between a man bit and injured by a St. Paul Police Department canine this past summer.

According to the proposed agreement, the settlement is proposed at $75,000, which is “in complete satisfaction for all damages, medical liens, costs and attorneys’ fees in this matter for Mr. Slaughter.”

The payment would completely release the city of St. Paul and its employees of any claims for damages.
