St. Cloud man injured after crashing vehicle into house

ST. JOSEPH TOWNSHIP, Minn. (KMSP) - A 33-year-old St. Cloud man was injured Thursday morning after he crashed his vehicle into a house.
The accident was reported at 5:16 a.m. According to the Stearns County Sheriff's Office, the man was driving through St. Joseph Township when the vehicle left the road. He drove through a field before driving into the yard of a home and hitting to corner of the house.
The homeowners, a man and a woman both 66 years old, called the sheriff's office and said a vehicle had crashed into their house. The lone driver was still trapped in the vehicle when deputies arrived. He was extricated and taken to the St. Cloud hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The homeowners were not injured in the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
