The goat that has been running loose in Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota was finally caught Thursday.

The goat had been on the lam for several days before Inver Grove Heights police officers caught him “safely and humanely.” He is currently resting in a pen in the police department’s garage.

“He’s actually pretty tame, but was obviously afraid,” police said in a Facebook post.

No one has claimed the goat, so police said they plan to bring him to a Minnesota-based shelter for farm animals.
