A section of the mall area of Minneapolis St. Paul International Airport’s Terminal 1 was evacuated at about 4 p.m. Wednesday afternoon after airport police received a report of an unattended bag. Police determined the bag didn't contain anything hazardous and all areas of the airport were open by 5:30 p.m.

The bag was located at the Stone Arch restaurant, which is located in the airport mall near a security checkpoint. Airport police contacted the Bloomington bomb squad, which is procedure.

Travelers inside were rerouted to avoid the area. No flights were impacted.
