A massive Coronal Mass Ejection, solar flare, erupted from the sun on the last day of September (pictured below) and will heads towards Earth. This means that there will be an enhanced chance of seeing Northern Lights this Thursday and Friday October 1-2, 2015.
Since the weather will still be in "Severe Clear" mode through the weekend, there will be no obstacles from Mother Nature.
Simply keep an eye to the northern horizon and you may catch a glimpse of this popular celestial spectacle that is unique to us here in the northern part of the country.
