Motorcycle driver killed in crash with semi in Blaine, Minn.
BLAINE, Minn. (KMSP) - A 30-year-old man was killed when his motorcycle crashed into a semi-truck in Blaine, Minn. Friday evening.
The accident occurred shortly after 4 p.m. According to the Blaine Police Department, the motorcycle was driving eastbound on 101st Avenue when it crashed into a semi-truck waiting to turn from101st Avenue onto Xylite Street.
Police do not believe drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash. The accident is currently under investigation by the Blaine Police Department, the Anoka County sheriff's office and the Minnesota State Patrol
The identity of the motorcycle driver has not yet been released.
