MISSING: Teen last seen Sunday morning in Hastings, Minn.

(KMSP) - Authorities in Lake City, Minnesota are looking for a missing teen who was last seen early Sunday in Hastings, Minn.

Ian Borgschatz, 14, was reported as a missing runaway after fleeing from a juvenile placement center in Hastings early Sunday morning. His family has not heard from him since he left placement.

Borgschatz has been seen in the Farmington area and may be heading toward the Twin Cities.

According to his mother, he takes medication and he does not have it with him which means his decision-making may not be at a high level right now.

If anyone has contact with Ian or has seen him, please alert authorities.
