Minnesota Zoo welcomes baby tamandua

APPLE VALLEY, Minn. (KMSP) - The Minnesota Zoo welcomed a new member to the family.

On Nov. 20, the zoo's female tamandua, Garra, gave birth to a healthy baby. Wednesday, the zoo announced the baby is doing well and gaining weight every day.

The two are set to meet the public at a later date.
