Minneapolis Police investigating suspicious death in Ventura Village neighborhood
MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (KMSP) - Minneapolis Police are investigating a suspicious death that occurred in the Ventura Village neighborhood Saturday afternoon.
According to a police spokesperson, crews responded to the scene of a medical situation after 3 p.m. on the 1900 block of Park Avenue South.
Upon arrival, crews administered CPR on an individual there, but the person was pronounced dead at the scene.
The spokesperson said another individual at the scene had injuries "consistent with a physical altercation," and was taken to HCMC.
That person is now a person of interest in the suspicious death at this time.
