Minneapolis paints rainbow crosswalks for Twin Cities Pride Festival
MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) - Minneapolis city crews were hard at work overnight Wednesday into Thursday painting rainbow crosswalks for this weekend's Twin Cities Pride Festival at Loring Park.
Several multicolor crosswalks will remain at the corner of Yale Place and Willow Street throughout the two-day long festival Saturday and Sunday. The intersection marks one entrance to the park, with city officials hoping the new look will serve as a proper welcome for festival goers.
