Minneapolis officials discuss Vikings tailgating future
MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) - A Minneapolis City ordinance changing the tailgating zone for U.S. Bank Stadium passed another hurdle today.
The Community Development and Regulatory Services Committee approved the adjustment that will maintain the same number of tailgating spaces as were present at the Metrodome.
“Under this current plan there are plenty of spaces, there are as many as a thousand,” said Vikings Vice President Lester Bagley.
The plan goes before the Minneapolis City Council later this month for final approval.
