Minneapolis' Aqua Night Club closed until Oct. 24 following shooting

Three people were shot inside Aqua Nigh Club in Minneapolis early Monday morning. 

Aqua Night Club in Minneapolis is closed after three people were shot in the club early Monday morning.

According to police, authorities responded to the scene around 1:43 a.m. where they found two people suffering from non-life threatening gunshot wounds. Officers later learned a third person was driven to the hospital separately.

Attorneys representing the club reported that due to the incident, the club will stay closed until Oct. 24 while they "evaluate how best to go forward." The owners, Twin Cities Entertainment, LLC, will also reevaluate security protocols.

The owners of the club said in a statement they are cooperating fully with the Minneapolis Police Department in the investigation, which remains ongoing.
