Man walking on Benton County highway struck, seriously injured

MINDEN TOWNSHIP, Minn. (FOX 9) - A man is in life-threatening condition after he was struck by a car while walking on the highway early Sunday in Minden Township, Minnesota.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, around 1:23 a.m., the 28-year-old man was walking eastbound on Highway 23 in the westbound lanes when he was struck by a Jeep.
The Jeep driver was not injured. It is unknown if the pedestrian was under the influence of alcohol.
