Man dies after shooting in Minneapolis

Update (10:44 a.m.) - The victim died from his injuries, according to Minneapolis Police Department spokesperson John Elder. His death is being investigated as a homicide. 

A man was gravely injured Wednesday night in a shooting near the intersection of 9th Street and 23rd Avenue S. in Minneapolis, according to police. 

Officers responded to the scene just after 7:30 p.m. and found a man with a gunshot wound outside. He was taken to HCMC in grave condition. 

No arrests have been made and police are working to canvas the scene in an attempt to speak with anyone who may have seen or heard the incident take place.
