License plates supporting families of fallen MN officers available July 1

(KMSP) - Commemorative Minnesota license plates supporting the families of fallen law enforcement officers will be available next month, the Minnesota Law Enforcement Memorial Association announced.
According to LEMA, the commemorative plates should be available for purchase after July 1. Proceeds from the license plates will be used to support families of fallen Minnesota law enforcement personnel.
The passenger class plates will be available for purchase over the counter at all Minnesota Motor Vehicle offices. Those seeking plates for one-ton pickups and RV-type vehicles can order them at the offices.
Currently, there are no options for personalizing the license plates.
