Juvenile girl found dead in Cass Lake, Minn.
CASS LAKE, Minn. (KMSP) - Authorities are investigating the death of a young girl after her body was found in Cass Lake, Minn. last Friday.
On Jan. 12 at 8:09 a.m., the Cass County sheriff's office received a report of a body found in the city. When they arrived, they found a dead juvenile girl. The sheriff's office has not released where in the city the girl's body was found.
Authorities say there is no threat to public safety.
An autopsy will be conducted. The sheriff's office and the Leech Lake Tribal Department are investigating the death.
