Jogger struck, killed by car in St. Paul, Minn.

A jogger is dead after being hit by a car near the intersection of Dayton Avenue and West Mississippi River Boulevard in St. Paul, Minnesota Wednesday night, the St. Paul Police Department confirmed to Fox 9.

The driver, identified by St. Paul police as 60-year-old Peter Berge of St. Paul, was arrested and booked into jail for criminal vehicle operation. Berge was reportedly impaired at the time of the crash.

Thursday morning, St. Paul police identified the jogger killed in the crash as 35-year-old Scott Spoo of St. Paul.

The crash remains under investigation.
