HELP ID: Teen assaults elderly man in St. Paul, flees on electric scooter

UPDATE: St. Paul police say they have identified the juvenile suspect in this case thanks to a Facebook tip.

Police in St. Paul, Minnesota are asking for the public's help in identifying a teenage boy who assaulted and robbed a 77-year-old man Tuesday before fleeing the scene on an electric scooter. 

The assault occurred at approximately 4:55 p.m. at a home on the 1000 block of Farrington Street, according to St. Paul police. Security video shows the suspect approach the man, follow him and eventually pull him to the ground before running away. 

The suspect is described as 5 feet 8 inches tall with a thin build. He was wearing an orange sweatshirt and bright tennis shoes that also appeared to be orange.
