Gov. Walz sits down for an interview at the Minnesota State Fair

FALCON HEIGHTS, Minn. (FOX 9) - Over the first seven days of the Minnesota State Fair, it seems like Governor Tim Walz has been all over the fairgrounds.

Wednesday, we were able to track the governor down before the Hall and Oates show for an interview at the FOX 9 booth where he talked about an array of topics including:

  • Visiting the fair with Ohio Governor Mike Dewine
  • Conversations with constituents on the fairgrounds
  • His planned trade mission to Japan and South Korea
  • Sports betting in Minnesota
