Gov. Dayton: Lung damage has kept me at Mayo Clinic for a month
ROCHESTER, Minn. (KMSP) - Minnesota Gov. Mark Dayton, who initially said an Oct. 15 back surgery would keep him at Mayo Clinic for a few days, has finally revealed that he's been at the facility for the past month.
Gov. Dayton's office declined to make him available for an interview Friday. Instead, his office sent Fox 9 the following statement, which provides little insight about Dayton's current condition:
