FOUND: Body of missing Peltier Lake boater located in Lino Lakes

LINO LAKES, Minn. (KMSP) - UPDATE: The Anoka County Sheriff's Office said it located the body of a missing boater around 11 p.m. Saturday night. 

A boater was found deceased in Lake Peltier late Saturday night after their boat was discovered unaccompanied earlier in the evening. 

At approximately 6:40 p.m. Saturday, authorities were called to Peltier Lake in Lino Lakes, Minnesota on reports of a boater in distress. 

The report said the operator and lone occupant of the boat had been observed falling from it and did not surface. 

Multiple agencies responded to the call, including the White Bear Lake Fire Department Dive Team and the Anoka County Sheriff's Office Marine Unit. 

Authorities recovered the boat involved and crews began searching for the missing boater. 

Sunday morning, the Anoka County Sheriff's Office identified the boater as Rodney Pierre Callendar Sr., 64, of St. Paul.
