Flooding closes highway between Hinckley, Minn. and Danbury, Wis.
HINCKLEY, Minn. (KMSP) - Minnesota Highway 48 and Wisconsin Highway 77 from Hinckley, Minn. to Danbury, Wis. are closed due to high water at the bridge over the St. Croix River. The Minnesota Department of Transportation says the bridge will remain closed until the water recedes.
Highway 48 remains open to Grand Casino Hinckley and local traffic. All other traffic is being rerouted to Highway 70 south of Pine City for travel between Wisconsin and Minnesota.
