The woman found dead in her home in St. Paul, Minnesota Monday has been identified by family members as 39-year-old Shana Hollins.

St. Paul police officers responded to the call around 7 a.m. at an apartment on the 1500 block of East Jessamine Lane. Hollins was found dead inside. Her exact cause and manner of death is not yet known.

A juvenile had also been sexually assaulted in the home, according to police department spokesperson Steve Linders.

Family members told Fox 9 Hollins was a mother of three who worked as an overnight nursing assistant at a senior living facility. A New Orleans native, she lived in Minnesota for about 20 years, and once served as the president of the tenant’s association.

Police arrested Ivan Dan Walker, 33, of East St. Louis, Illinois Monday evening for criminal sexual conduct and kidnapping. He is also being investigated as a person of interest in the ongoing homicide investigation. Police said he was known to both Hollins and the victim of the sexual assault.
