Driver dies after hitting farming equipment in Meeker County, Minn.

COLLINWOOD TOWNSHIP, Minn. (KMSP) - A 62-year-old man has died after he collided with the back of a planter being pulled by a tractor Saturday night in Meeker County, Minnesota.
According to state patrol, the crash occurred around 10 p.m. at Highway 15 and 180th Street in Collinwood Township. A 62-year-old man from Darwin, Minn., was driving north on Highway 15 when he "collided with the back of a planter being pulled by a tractor that had just pulled out from a field approach."
It is unknown if the driver was wearing a seat belt or if alcohol was a factor in the crash. More information will come later Sunday.
