Crash between two semis shuts down WB I-94 near St. Cloud

A crash between two semis shut down westbound I-94 near St. Cloud as crews had to clean up the highway.

The crash happened around 1:14 p.m. on I-94 near Opportunity Drive, according to State Patrol.

A Peterbuilt semi rear-ended a Kenworth semi, which was slowing down for a lane reduction due to road construction. Debris damaged another vehicle.

One semi was hauling concrete mix and the other had fertilizer.

Crews spent hours cleaning up the spill. The road reopened around 6:40 p.m.

Traffic was moved to alternate routes on Highway 10 or County Road 75.
