Coon Rapids woman seriously injured in boating accident on Long Lake

MORRISON COUNTY, Minn. (KMSP) - A 45-year-old Coon Rapids woman was seriously injured in a boating accident on Long Lake in Richardson Township, Minnesota, according to the Morrison County Sheriff's Office.

Crews responded to a report of a boating accident Thursday just before 2 p.m.

Investigators learned a 43-year-old Andover man was driving a boat when he hit the wake of another boat. The force jerked the boat sideways, causing Julie Felepe to fall out. A Life Link helicopter took her to St. Cloud Hospital.
