Community rallies behind young girl with brain cancer

EXCELSIOR, Minn. (KMSP) - A community is coming together to support a 7-year-old Victoria, Minnesota, girl who is fighting a form of brain cancer.

Monday night, family and friends held a fundraiser at Excelsior Brewing Company for Maddison Mertz, who is currently receiving treatments in Vancouver, Canada for glioblastoma multiforme cancer.
