Bloomington firefighters save dog who went through ice

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. (KMSP) - A family dog is now dry and warm after a firefighter saved it from a pond in Bloomington, Minnesota.

The department posted to Twitter Wednesday morning that around 10 a.m., firefighters rescued the dog who went through thin ice on a pond in the 8200 block of Penn Avenue South. The firefighter in the photo is Robby Smith.
