Bicyclist runs red light, dies in crash on Hwy. 10 in Wadena, Minnesota

A 39-year-old bicyclist was killed in a crash in Wadena, Minnesota late Thursday evening. 

At 11:15 p.m., the bicyclist was traveling northbound on 2nd Street and crossed over Highway 10 on a red light. The bicyclist struck a Chevy Silverado traveling westbound on Highway 10. 

The bicyclist, a Detroit Lakes man, was killed in the crash. His identity has not been released. 

Neither the driver nor the passenger of the Chevy Silverado were injured. 

The crash remains under investigation.
