Bed Bath & Beyond will take old Toys 'R' Us gift cards

Do you have old Toys "R" Us gift cards you're still looking to use?

With the toy company going out of business, many people are running out of time to use up old gift cards. The websites for Toys "R" Us and Babies "R" Us have already shut down and inventory at liquidation sales is limited.

Enter: Bed Bath & Beyond.

The retail giant says it will buy Toys "R" Us gift cards and turn them into Bed Bath & Beyond e-gift cards that customers can use in stores or online.

Bed Bath & Beyond will buy the gift cards at a discounted price through its "Card Cash" program. The same program offers a Buy Buy Baby card in exchange for Babies "R" Us gift cards.

Bed Bath & Beyond says it will accept Toys "R" Us gift cards through 11:59 E.T. on Thursday, April 5.

The credit will be less than the amount of the gift card. Currently a $100 Toys "R" Us gift card is going for $64.20 in store credit to Bed Bath & Beyond, but the retailer warns the prices can vary.

Gift cards of $20 or more will be accepted, but they must not have an expiration date.
