Baby reported missing brought to Mankato police by father

MANKATO, Minn. (KMSP) - After putting out a bulletin Monday for a missing man and his three-month-old baby, Mankato police confirmed the child was brought the public safety center voluntarily Monday night.
Gabriel Lara, 25, and the three-month-old Gabriel Jr., had last been seen March 18 on the 300 block of Ramsey Street in Mankato.
Officials said the elder Lara was avoiding contact from authorities and would not return the child to his mother.
