The Pope has removed the Archbishop of Guam in a wide-ranging sex abuse scandal with a Minnesota connection.

Archbishop Anthony Apuron has been removed after a closed door Vatican tribunal. He was accused of molesting several altar boys.

The Archdiocese in Guam faces more than 100 lawsuits, most involving a former Minnesota priest, Father Louis Brouillard.

Brouillard is accused of molesting boys he brought to Minnesota from Guam in the early 1980s.

Father Brouillard was removed from the Duluth diocese in 1985. He is now 96 years old.
