STEWART, Minn. (FOX 9) - Three people were killed in a two-vehicle crash in central Minnesota Monday evening.
The crash occurred at County Road 7 and Yaht Avenue in McLeod County northeast of Stewart shortly before 10:56 p.m.
A 2004 Ford Explorer headed westbound on Country Road 7 collided with a 2010 Dodge Nitro traveling in the opposite direction, according to the McLeod County Sheriff's Office.
The driver of the Ford Explorer, identified as Wayne Bernier, Jr. 32, of Gaylord, and the passenger, Tiffany Dralle, 25, of Gibbon were pronounced dead at the scene. Dralle was not wearing her seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle.
The driver of the Dodge Nitro, Bruce Lentz, 60, of Stewart, was also pronounced dead at the scene.
The sheriff's office said there were no witnesses or other occupants in the vehicles. at the time of the accident.
The crash is still under investigation.
