21-year-old man found dead in fish house at Eelpout Festival
WALKER, Minn. (KMSP) - Authorities are investigating after a man was found dead in a fish house at the Eelpout Festival on Leech Lake near Walker, Minnesota last weekend.
Shortly before 9 a.m. on Feb. 25, the Cass County sheriff’s office responded to a fish house on the lake and found a 21-year-old Bemidji man unresponsive inside. The man was taken to a nearby hospital, but was pronounced dead upon arrival.
An autopsy is pending. The death remains under investigation.
