2 killed in Otter Tail County, 21-year-old arrested

PERHAM, Minn. (KMSP) - Authorities in northwestern Minnesota are investigating after two people were found dead inside a rural home Tuesday morning. 

At 5:17 a.m., Otter Tail County sheriff's deputies responded to a home in Perham and found the two victims inside. Authorities said the pair died of "homicidal violence" but did not release their cause of death.

A 21-year-old man was arrested on pending charges of second-degree homicide. The victims have been identified as 42-year-old Denise Mcfadzen and her 21-year-old son Dalton Mcfadzen.

The murders remain under investigation.
