19-year-old woman dies in Pine County crash
(KMSP) - A 19-year-old woman is dead after the car she was in rolled multiple times on I-35 in Pine County on Saturday.
According to State Patrol, the car was near Mission Creek Township, south of Hinckley, on I-35 when it bumped into the center median. The car overcorrected, resulting in the car rolling multiple times before landing upright.
The driver of the car, Ryan Schreiber, 19, was brought to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Salena Chhum, 19, from Inver Grove Heights was a passenger in car, and died at a nearby hospital.
The accident occurred at 1:41 p.m. State Patrol continues to investigate.
