1 injured in school bus crash in Roseville
ROSEVILLE, Minn. (KMSP) - A crash between a charter school bus and a vehicle stopped traffic in a residential area in Roseville, Minn. Friday afternoon.
According to Roseville Police Lt. Erika Scheider, the crash happened around 3:30 p.m. near the intersection of Woodhill Drive and Huron Street.
Schieder says one student on the bus had a minor injury and was treated at the scene.
About 20 students from the Academy for Sciences and Agriculture High School were on the bus, ranging in age from 5th to 12th grade. The charter school is based in Vadnais Heights.
Parents picked up their children from the scene of the crash, according to AFSA High School Executive Director Becky Meyer.
Investigators do not believe drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash.
At this time, no one has been cited for the crash.
The crash is still under investigation.
